| Description |
trunk dated 1873 for Ingeborg Haatons and Daffer Ulpenoes. The trunk remains in very fine original condition with beautiful hand hammered metal bands, original key (a work of art in itself) dovetailed corners, wrought iron handles and bright vibrant colors to the rosemaling. The interior includes rosemaled lidded side compartment, interior of the top rosemaled with wedding couples names and date. An included tag states the trunk was from Os, Norway and painted by Annanis Tveit making the trunk easily researchable. An outstanding romantic heirloom quality trunk measuring 41" long X 21" wide X 20" tall.
