Description |
early 19th century, in the solid and highly figured veneer, yellow pine and poplar secondary woods, a two-board top surmounts a centered bow front drawer and two cabinet doors flanked by single drawer over a deep drawer, all drawers with cock-beading and diamond inlaid escutcheons, tall straight tapered legs. Through tenons to backboard. 39 x 65 x 4 in. Some replaced runners; later appropriate hardware; patch and repair to central bottom rail; hairline and repair to top left leg; replaced hinges; some areas with insect damage; lower left drawer with two small edge patches; missing two locks; later felt interior lining; top with some scratches and staining.
