Breakfront, Two Part w/Key Wood: Mahogany Secondary Wood: Pine & Oak Joinery: Dovetail Features: Top section: Glazed upper section; original glass; dental cornice molding; adjustable shelves. Bottom Section: Fall-front desk with eight drawers and one door, having a rosewood veneer and banded edges; three drawers and resting on ogee feet; Brass hardware, probably original. Date: c. 1780 Provenance: Estate of Arthur J. Connolly Size: 80" x W. 44" W x D. 21.05 Weight: 112 lb 25 oz Condition: One glazed panel has a tight spider check; circular discoloration to the top of the bottom section, along with some scratching on the drawer fronts.
