Form: Helmet Makers Mark: Faberge mark Country of Origin: Russia Other Marks Stamped insided Decoration: Extremely Rare silver helmet by Faberge, beautifully crafted and correctly formed. The design employs the double headed eagle crest and simulated lobster tail nape just as the originals used during the Imperial period of Nicholas II. Its interior is gold washed and bears the mark of Faberge. Style: Imperial Construction: cast Period: 19th century Provenance: The estate of Arthur J. Connolly Size: 3.25"H x 2"L x 1.5 'D Weight: 3.9 oz. Condition: Excellent History: Peter Charles Faberge was born in Russia, in St.-Petersburg on May, 30th, 1846.
